INTRODUCTION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF GEOGRAPHY
The department of Geography was established in the year 2002 and received Govt. Concurrence in the year 2005. Since the establishment the Dept
of Geography, students are graduated without Honours. Honours subject was introduced in the session of 2020-21. At the time of establishment there was
only a teacher myself Jyotimoni Doley H.O.D. After three years two faculty of members joined in the Dept of Geography. Now there are three faculty
members in the Dept of Geography. Named –
1. Jyotimoni Doley (H.O.D)
2. Manashi Borah
3. Debajyoti Kalita
The teachers have been serving without govt. Salary till date
