The Assamese Department stands as a cornerstone of linguistic and cultural heritage within the college. Dedicated to preserving, promoting, and enriching the Assamese language and literature, the department plays a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual and cultural landscape of the institution.

Our Vision: To cultivate a deep appreciation for Assamese language and literature among students, fostering critical thinking, creativity, and a strong sense of cultural identity.

Our Mission: To impart comprehensive knowledge of Assamese language, literature, and culture, equipping students with the skills necessary for academic excellence and active participation in the socio-cultural fabric of Assam.
